Twenty hours after leaving home and 15 hours on one plane I landed in Hong Kong. Local time is 7:17pm, but that is 12 hours ahead of my body. My body is telling me it is time to wake up, although I didn't sleep much on the plane. I feel a little groggy. I have a couple hours before boarding the final 2-hour leg to Manila.

The layover time in HK is too short to leave the airport, which is big and very modern and exudes wealth. The air outside, while it was still light, was quite hazy.
