Cow Tipping...

Back home there is an urban myth about city guys going out to farms at night and trying to push cows off their feet: cow tipping. Can you tip over a cow? (I don't know the answer to that question, and I haven't been curious enough to find out for myself.)

So imagine my wonder when I passed the sign on the highway north of London that read "No Fly-Tipping". Do British punks drive to the country to see if they can tip over flies?

Thanks to Google I learned the term means dumping trash. Now I'd still like to know why it is called 'Fly-Tipping'. If I find out, I'll let you know.
