Yelling at my radio...

I drove to Chicago and back today, and had NPR on most of the way. At one point found myself yelling at my radio.

The story was about the Michael Mukasey confirmation hearings, and frustration the dems are feeling because he won't state unequivocably that waterboarding is torture.

I can't find the link now, but there was another commentary (by Nina Tottenburg?) that claimed that prior to 9/11 the US government prosecuted people who practiced waterboarding as war criminals. The reporter suggested that Mukasey doesn't want to go on record as stating that waterboarding is torture because it would open the door to charges that those who authorized its use (Cheney? Bush?) are war criminals.

That's when I started yelling at my radio. You'll have to guess what I said.
