Garbage...
Tonight I lost my reading glasses in the garbage. It took me a while to realize that I might have let them slide down among coffee grounds and old papers. In fact they were buried deep enough that I couldn't find them the first time through.When I described this to a friend he laughed and pointed out what a great metaphor that is: sometimes in order to see we have to dig deep down into the garbage.

You are not the only person to lose items. What a coincidence that two blogs I regularly read had posts on the same topic at nearly the same time. Must be the coming of spring.
