New adventure...

Tomorrow I embark on an entirely new kind of adventure. I'm taking three days of vacation to get started in a year-long workshop on spiritual guidance at AMBS.

Some of my readers know that I've been involved in direction off and on for several years. (You can read a good definition here.) In the last few years I've found myself exploring what it might mean to offer direction.

This isn't a career change or anything like that; it would be hard to make a living doing direction. I'm not even enrolling in seminary because it is a non-credit program. If you need some way to classify it, consider it a very strange hobby.

My class meets for whole days half a dozen times through the next year.
