Day of rest...

I spent substantial chunks of time today catching up with friends and family through the telephone. The afternoon and evening were filled with napping, Moby Dick, knitting and prepping for next Saturday's MCCO concert.

Everybody knows Mozart and Telemann, but nobody has every heard of Vanhal. It is my favorite piece on the program. Hope to see you at the concert.

The last couple hours I've had the fireplace blazing, and the radiant heat is gorgeous. It is the perfect antidote for a yucky, cold, wet day. Yesterday I ordered a whole bunch of seeds for my garden to be, which is another good antidote.
